Events

The Forum organises a one day Conference (normally held in March/ April) and also several evening meetings annually. From time to time joint meetings are organised with other local societies such as Ulster Medical Society and Medical-Legal Society. The Forum is also keen to promote and support events organised by other organisations which might be of interest to our members.

Members are encouraged to suggest themes (and speakers) for forthcoming evening meetings and for the annual conference. Please forward proposals to contact@nief.org.uk. Alternatively, you can post your ideas to our Facebook Group. These will then be considered at the next scheduled meeting of Council. Requests to publicise other events can be submitted to us by email or via the facebook group and, subject to approval, the details will be circulated.

Members requiring certificates of attendance at Forum meetings for the purposes of appraisal or for inclusion in personal portfolios should contact the Honorary Secretary by Email at contact@nief.org.uk immediately after each meeting. Please note that the Forum’s policy is to apply for CPD credit approval from the Royal Colleges for the full day annual conference but not normally for the shorter evening meetings.
